Club Voodoo DJ Guide lines and Rules

As a staff member you are a representative of the Club Voodoo and our brand.  What you do reflects our image.

We expect our staff to have a fun, vibrant and respectful personality.

We ask DJ to do their best to engage with V.I.P's and Hosts.  We understand that Live mix DJ maybe have a little more difficulty doing this.

Dj are expected to talk on mic at all sets, Promote your host, club donation jars, shopping mall and events.

We like the fact you send your dj group invites out, however; you will not spam and you are only allowed to send a dj invite twice per 2 hour set.  NEVER on another DJ Shift.

DJ will not send out invites to their own group unless on duty.

All staff on duty will not be in voice calls of any kind, you need to pay attention to your set.

The Club takes 5% of all tips you receive.  All tips must go through your tip jar.  If tipped directly by anyone you must put it through your tip jar personally.  If found to be taking direct tips (you can be tested by us using an alt at any time) you will be instantly dismissed from Club Voodoo.

All staff are to remain on stage in their own position during your set unless we are having a special event which will be stated by managers.

MANAGER, DJ and HOST Tags can only be worn while on duty.  These tags must not be worn unless on duty.  Assistant GM, GM and Owner tags are permitted at all times.

If you are having issues with your stream, put the club on radio.  This is located in the About Land General Tab, click Sound tab and copy and paste the stream into land and +.  Let the manager on duty know.  The radio stream URL is located in the staff group general tab.

CHECK IN is in Voodoo Staff group 30 minutes prior to the set starting to let the Manager know the next set is staffed.  We expect the Dj and Host already on duty to keep this box open to ascertain who the NEXT DJ Is.  Voodoo staff is strictly check ins/fills/club related issues.  All other chat discussion/chat/banter will be kept to Voodoo group for Chatters.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

As stated you are expected to CHECK IN no later than 15 minutes prior to set starting.  Failure to do so will result in a No Show.  Three No Shows could result in your permanent set/s being removed and/or termination of employment.  Call outs will be treated in the same fashion.

All staff are required to do at least one permanent set (same time and day every week) or at least two fill in sets.  We do keep logs on which staff members do what sets.  You can do Fill in sets as well as your permanent, your help is appreciated.

Notices are to be sent by the host on duty.  If no host on duty the manager on duty will send the notice.

Gestures are to be no longer than six lines.  This is for all staff to follow.  We do not want our hosts using a lot of gestures.  A personal touch is much better

Drama is to be kept out of Club Voodoo.  This includes bad attitudes/boyfriend-girlfriend issues/fighting.  If you are dating another staff member and break up we expect you to be professional in the Club at all times.  A warm, welcoming atmosphere must be maintained.  This includes STAFF GROUPS AND CHAT GROUPS.

Sleeping while on duty will NOT BE TOLERATED.  If you are tired message the Manager on duty to find back up by using a personal IM.

If you have an issue working with a member staff contact a member of Management.  Do not bring it into the Staff group or to local chat in Club.  This must be done in a personal IM.  Staff will be dismissed if this happens in Local in Club.

If a dispute with manager your chain of line is Asst Manager, Manager, Manager+,  Asst GM, Gm Owner.

STAFF are NOT to harass/beg for tips , ask no more than three times in a two hour set  in local never in ims.

NUDITY is not permitted, IM and ask to dress.  If they fail to do so within 1 minute, eject and IM saying they are welcome back after they dress.  TROLLS are to be ejected and banned.  All bans are to be notecarded.  Take a screen shot using ( https://gyazo.com/ ) or similar as proof as copy and paste is not acceptable. STAGE is for staff only.  Any Vip on stage, ask in IM for them to step down.  If they fail then eject.  If they persist then eject and ban.

DO NOT ABUSE YOUR EJECT RIGHTS!  You must not ban anyone for a personal reason.  Second Life have provided a mute/block tool, please use this.  If your personal issue is bad use the abuse report for Second Life.

STAFF will not abuse their Rezzing right.  This is a privilege, and if abused, will be revoked for the Staff member.  Escorting in Club Voodoo is NOT TOLERATED.

Staff must conduct themselves in a dignified manner at all times this includes how you chat, excessive bad language/sex talk (ie sucking cock, cunt poking) is not the image Club Voodoo wants to have.  Managers will ask you to tone it down and report on it using SCREEN SHOTS ( https://gyazo.com )
